#Vietnam’s tank-armored units asked to further raise troops’ combat readiness capability

In the coming time, the Tank-Armored Corps should promote political and ideological education to raise its troops’ revolutionary vigilance, and further organize training courses to boost their combat readiness capability.

The request was made by Deputy Minister of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong during a meeting with leaders of the corps on February 8.

He added that the corps should effectively master weapons and modernize military equipment, as well as be ready to undertake and fulfill unscheduled missions.

Praising tank-armored troops’ achievements over the past time, General Truong said that tank-armored units should continue thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the Party’s and the Central Military Commission’s resolutions and instructions on military and defense tasks and national protection missions in the current  context.

The Deputy Defense Minister reminded the corps’ units to continue contributing constructive advice on building forces, procuring weapons and equipment, and raising the quality and efficiency of training and combat readiness to the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense, and effectively carrying out the Campaign “Good, durable, and safe management of weapons and equipment and traffic safety.”
