Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to Syrian President

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a message of greetings to Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on Thursday.

Kim Jong Un in his message extended warm congratulations to the Syrian president on the 55th anniversary of the March 8 revolution in Syria.

The message said that after the March 8 revolution the Syrian army and people have made great progress in the struggle for building a new independent and prosperous society under the leadership of the Syria’s Baath Arab Socialist Party.

Extending firm support and solidarity to the just cause of the president and friendly army and people of Syria to protect security and territorial integrity of the country, the message wished the president good health and bigger success in his responsible work.
